Sleep & Solids
Learning Objectives
Is your little one approaching the 6 month mark, and thought of introducing solids feels daunting!?
Are you checking different resources and getting confused because half state 4-6 months and everything else you read says 6 months!?
Do you know how much to offer, and what amount to work towards?
Are you questioning what solids to offer? Or are you back and forth about baby led weaning? 🤔
The first year of our little ones life can be overwhelming with the constant changes and transitions we need to make.
That is why I came up with my ✨Solid & Sleep Session✨, to be a source of support prior to, or during this transition. You can take the session if you are an expecting parent, approaching the 4-6 month mark, or even if your baby is 6-12 months, but you are struggling with ideas!
Beyond being a Certified Sleep Consultant, I am a Registered Nurse/Certified Bariatric Educator, as well as a Certified Craving Change facilitator! Prior to diving into the sleep world my main focus was nutrition, and implementing healthy habits for the entire family unit.
What we do in the beginning years of our little ones life will make a big impact down the road when it comes to their relationship with food.
In this session you will learn all about when to introduce, signs of readiness, setting up for success, food safety, signs of adverse reaction, food allergens, gagging vs choking, stages/textures, and ideal time to offer solids during the day. There is also a section on who is responsible, parent vs baby. Of course at the end you will receive information on solids and sleep, how may sleep be impacted. In addition to two sample schedules.
